We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our digital agency. It’s a split role because you manage the client and our internal team to make sure the clients needs are met. In this role, you will work closely with your assigned clients to deliver on their needs and/or challenges and work with our strategists, designers, and developers to make sure we are on time and in scope. You will be responsible for assigning tasks to your team and following up on them. Following up with clients and making sure we are within scope. The sales, deliverables, and strategy will all be handled for you, and you keep it organized and on schedule. This person would be a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for seeing client projects from start to finish. Someone who possesses project management orientation is essential as well as an ability to engender trust and confidence with clients.


  • 2-5+ years experience in Agency client service
  • 2-5+ years digital or online advertising industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated passion for technology and its use in driving revenue, client satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and openness to providing feedback to help iterate the business.
  • Background in SEO, SEM, Social, and analytics a huge plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in uncovering business needs and building relationships with clients
  • Ability to hold clients to a scope of work. We can help train this, but it does require you to be able to be direct from time to time.
  • Ability to hold other departments accountable for project deadlines
  • Should have strong understanding of interactive strategy, design, production and project management
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, presentation, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong self-discipline and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and translate needs into solutions
  • Ability to balance revenue, client satisfaction and operational responsibilities while meeting deadlines

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage all aspects of daily client communications
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; escalate, track and solve client issues
  • Develop and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Meet with clients regularly and keep them updated on the progress of any outstanding projects or maintenance requests they have in our queue
  • Partner with Sales in pre-sales engagement work including developing proposals and campaign strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and inform sales
  • Assist our design team by proofing wireframes for web and mobile applications so that they achieve client goals
  • Delivering formal and informal presentations to clients as well as internal team members
  • Keep your team of designers, developers, and marketers on task and run stand ups and sprint planning.
  • Limited travel to sales / client offices or events may be required.
